There are times when transportation is an issue for a patient.
If the patient has transportation problems and is under home health, we are able
to provide home visits in the Memphis area. If they are not being seen by home
health and able to get transportation thru Medicaid, we will see the patient in
our office. Sometimes the patient will fall into "the gray area" where
transportation is a problem and they are no longer under home health care. We
will provide home visits on a case by case basis. We actually prefer to see the
patient with their home health therapist. This makes the rehabilitation process
smoother.
